UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I've had a bit of writer's block this month.

I feel like I have lots to say, but every time I sit down to speak through my keyboard....crickets.  Not cicadas (they're noisy buggers). Just crickets.  Not sure why the term 'crickets' equates to silence though. I had one in my bedroom a few weeks ago, and let me tell you, Jiminy was not quiet.  Except when ever I got out of bed to actually look for it. The cheeky bug, only started chirping again every single time I got back into bed.  That went on until stupid o'clock. Until victory was finally mine.

I just can't seem to think of anything to say that would be of interest to any one.  Except to maybe my cat and my imaginary friend.  Just joking, I'm not sociable enough to even have an imaginary friend at the moment, ha! And the cat gave up on me ages ago ;-)

Instead, I'll leave you with a couple of fun memes that have made me giggle this week.  Taking a break from the sometimes harshness of reality, I'm quite happy to cope with not much more than fluffy cats and dancing babies at the moment.   Hope your month has been more fruitful than mine.  Don't forget if you are looking for a thoughtful, pretty and inexpensive gift for Mother's Day, the Sunny Daze boomerang jane reusable shopping bags are on sale for $5 each for the next few weeks (plus p&h if not able to pickup in Canberra).  Get in touch by  facebook or this blog for further information.

This one's dedicated to my bestie Sue.  ;-)

I had better stop now or I might be in danger of becoming THAT creepy old lonely cat lady.
Just a couple more. How can you not laugh!!

Bye bye friends.  Have a lovely next few weeks until I write again.
Cheerio for now, Kylee xx

  1. Crickets are loving my house and I find one in our bedroom every other day - drives me mad until I can find it and put it outside where it belongs!
I have a notebook of blog ideas and I'll scribble down ideas for posts as I think of them so when I turn on the computer Im prepared with what I want to talk about :) Might help you with your writers block if you start an ideas book.

  2. Gahhh, that must be driving you completely bonkers. But i'd rather have the crickets and caterpillars we've been having than spiders which seem strangely absent (now that i've said that, what's the bet they invade!)

That is a great idea Michelle, thanks. I used to keep an ideas folder but I must admit that I have put it out of sight and forgotten about it. Will pull it out now, I think. But seriously, you're such a busy gal, I don't think you'll ever run out of ideas. I'm loving the updates on the kitchen by the way. Can't wait to see finished product :-)
